We are pleased to inform you that a large call for tender was launched by ACP Legal, -a nonprofit association which bears the project-, concerning the studies to create an Ohadac Court of Arbitration in the Caribbean & Guiana and comparative business law around six priorities:

  • Corporate Law
  • Contract Law
  • Maritime Carriage of Goods Law
  • Guarantees & means of payment, Int'l trade Regulations in the region
  • Trust
  • Recognition & enforcement of foreign judgments
  • Arbitration

As part of the Faculty of Law of Havana, under the aegis of Professor Rodolfo Dávalos Fernández, and with the special participation of professors José Carlos Fernández Rozas, Sixto Sánchez Lorenzo and Bertrand Ancel will be held, from June 27, the Seventh International Summer School Meetings, on harmonization of business law in the region, particularly for matters relating to arbitration & company law. We are pleased to announce that Venezuela has recently launched its ACP Legal National Chapter chaired by Professor Ms. Yoselyn Ana Bermúdez from the State University of Zulia and relying on a broad university representation.
