Under the direction of Dr. Hugo Ramirez Risk, National Delegate of the ACP Legal-Dominican Republic Chapter, different summer workshops were organized to introduce the OHADAC to the Dominican public & private sectors:

• July 21: Dominican government entities* at the Melia Hotel of Santo Domingo;
• July 27: government, business and consular entities of the Cibao region at Gran Almirante Hotel Santiago de los Caballeros with the presence of the Director General of CARIFORUM, Dr. Ivan Ogando;
• July 29: Consular and business entities** at the Melia Hotel of Santo Domingo, presentation of the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the EU and CARIFORUM;
• August 3: Lunch-meeting-ACP Legal-CARICOM-CARIFORUM at the Hotel Intercontinental Fifth Century in Santo Domingo with the presence of Mr. Branford Isaacs, Advisor to the Secretary General of CARICOM for the Implementation of EPA and Ivan Ogando, Director General of CARIFORUM.
