The OHADAC participates in the International Business Law Degree programme in Santo Doming, starting January 10, 2012

The Diploma in International Business Law is a programme (Executive Certificate Program) organized by the Global Institute of Higher Studies in Social Sciences (iGLOBAL) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, under the direction of the Department of Public & Private International Law of the Madrid Complutense University (UCM), with support from the President Leonel Fernandez's foundation FUNGLODE.

It is divided into four (4) modules, covering the complex, recent and multifaceted world of international economic law from its applicability in business matters, state, judicial and private exchanges that affect cross-border capital, including the arbitration proceedings and international investments.

It is headed by Prof. Dr. Jose Carlos Fernandez Rozas, Director of the Department of Public and Private International Law, Faculty of Law at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM), International Arbitrator, with the participation of professors Sixto Sanchez Lorenzo, Bertrand Ancel, Paz Saenz de Santa Maria, Pedro de Miguel Asencio, Victor Fuentes Camacho, Carmen Otero Garcia-Castrillon, Patricia Prieto Orejudo de los Mozos, and Julio Garcia Lopez.

The second module will be led by Prof. Dr. Rodolfo Davalos Fernandez which conference will focus on the OHADAC project of harmonization of business law in the Caribbean and the creation of a regional arbitration court.
