The Complutense University of Madrid, Spain, Faculty of Law, will organize the V International Seminar on Private International Law on "Trends in the evolution of Private International Law", next March 24th and 25th, with the collaboration of the European Commission and the Notary Madrid Association.

The Andrés Bello Association of Franco-Latin-American Jurists, in association with the Cuban Ministry of Basic Industry, professors Rodolfo Dávalos and Francisco Victoria Andreu, organize, September 27-30, at the Ministry Theatre , Havana City, Cuba, a Upgrade Seminar on Negotiations, International Contracts and International Arbitration.

The aim of the Congress is to discuss the basis for a common project on a Caribbean & Latin American Arbitration in order to facilitate goods and services trade between countries in the area. It draws on the OHADAC project for harmonization of commercial law in the Caribbean.
